Getting Started

Creating your first product in Tripix Studio is quick and intuitive. Follow these steps to transform your travel expertise into a beautiful, sellable product in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Access Tripix Studio and Create a Product

Log into your Tripix account and navigate to Tripix Studio. Go to the Products page and click "Create Product". You'll see a clean, user-friendly interface designed to make content creation effortless.

Step 2: Choose Your Product Type

Click "Create New Product" and select from one of three product types:

1. Tour

A themed collection of experiences - like a food, art, or nature tour. This is for travelers looking for themed experiences to enhance their trip.

2. Trip Plan

A ready-to-follow itinerary with daily routes and activities. This is for travelers who want everything planned for them.

3. Guide

A curated list of top places, stays, and experiences. This is for independent travelers who love to mix and match.

Step 3: Select a Destination

Choose the destination for your product. This helps customers find your product and sets the geographic context for all your content.

Step 4: Provide Product Information

Add key information about your product. You can complete this step now or come back to it later:

  • About: A compelling description of your product
  • Difficulty Level: Help travelers understand what to expect
  • Price: Set your product price
  • Best For: Who this product is ideal for
  • Ideal Season: When travelers should visit
  • Tags: Keywords to help with discoverability
  • Cover Image: The main image that represents your product

Step 5: Start Adding Content

Begin building your product structure based on the type you selected:

  • Trip Plans: Add days to structure your itinerary
  • Guides: Add sections to organize your recommendations
  • Tours: Add activities directly to your tour

Each day or section can also have its own list of activities, just like tours. When adding activities, you can choose from four types:

1. Place

Select a place from our 150k+ curated and verified places with high-quality images, accurate details, opening hours, geo-coordinates, and suggested tips. You focus on insights, we handle the groundwork.

2. Experience

Choose a category like "Outdoor & Adventure" and then a sub-category like "Hiking" or "Wildlife Watching" and then provide details (or import from Google Maps).

3. Transport

Choose a category like "Public Transport" and then a sub-category like "Train" and then provide details (or import from Google Maps).

4. Accommodation

Choose a category like "Hotels" and then a sub-category like "Boutique / Design Hotel" and then provide details (or import from Google Maps).

Step 6: Add Stories and Gems

After you add activities, you can enrich them with your unique content using stories and gems, which really make a difference between just a trip and a truly memorable journey.

Stories

Images and videos you can upload from this place or experience (just like Instagram Stories). Bring your recommendations to life with visual content that captures the essence of each location.

Gems

Your textual added value. Choose from different types and add your input:

  • Tip: Share practical advice and helpful hints
  • Fact: Add interesting facts and local knowledge
  • Insight: Provide deeper understanding and context
  • Warning: Alert travelers to important considerations
  • Highlight: Emphasize what makes this place special

Step 7: Preview your Product

You can preview how your product will look to your audience by clicking the "Preview" button, and then switch between Desktop and Mobile views. When you feel it's ready, publish it to your store.

Step 8: Set Pricing and Publish

Once your product is complete and you've previewed it:

  • Set your price using our pricing recommendations
  • Add a compelling product description
  • Click "Publish" to make it live on your store

💡 Pro Tip

Start with a destination you know well. Your personal experience and insider tips are what make your product valuable. Choose the product type that best matches your content and your target audience's needs. You can always create more products as you get comfortable with the platform.
